Please recommend some.

If you're looking for great guitar playing then anything by Free is worth checking out. Kossoff's tone is, imo, unparalleled.

Here's some of my favorite solo guitar albums:

Guitar Solos by Fred Frith

It's A Wonderful Life by Henry Kaiser

Slight Freedom by Jeff Parker

Fare Forward Voyagers (Soldier's Choice) by John Fahey

Silver Wheel Of Prayer by Roy Montgomery

And then there's Papa M's Live from Sharks Cage, Aerial M's s/t, Roy Montgomery's Allegory of Hearing (he will also play some organ on those two), Derek Bailey's Solo Guitar vol. 1 & 2 and Improvisation, Grant Green's Idle Moments, Django Reinhardt's Djangology or some other comp., James Blood Ulmer's Tales of Captain Black or Oddysey (both not solo), Sonny Sharrock's Guitar and Ask the Ages (last one not solo).

That should get your foot in the door for jazzy guitar, with a folk guitarist and a couple rock guitarists thrown in too

Ascension by The Aints

Very jazzy guitar music at its best by former member of The saints Ed Kuepper. Later on he went for a more acoustic guitar solo career.

Well done for mentioning Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs, it's a true guitar tour de force.

This one is pretty great from the greatest player ever:

Blow By Blow by Jeff Beck

This one is full of mind blowing blues solos:

Blues Alive by Gary Moore
