They can be all brothers, all sisters, or mixed. But they have to be REAL brothers or sisters. For example, The Doobie Brothers and the Chemical Brothers would not count. It could even be siblings who are in the same band, for example Oasis or Allman Brothers.

Off the top of my head.
Tom and John Fogerty. CCR
Isley Brothers
Kim and Kelley Deal. Breeders
Duane and Greg Allman. Allman Bros.
Ricky and Cindy Wilson. B-52s

I'll think of more later.

Immediately this makes me think of those boys notorious for their love of beaches; Boards of Canada.

First I thought of the White Stripes, then realised I'm an idiot...

But in all seriousness:

Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Scott and Bryan Devendorf - The National
Matthew and Eleanor Friedberger - Fiery Furnaces (I've only heard a bit of their stuff, but it's great, so...)
The Beach Boys, as already mentioned
The Kinks (Ray and Dave Davies)
Radiohead - Colin and Jonny

Some of these are not the best of all time, but I just like them.

Heres some more. Seems like it used to be more common back years ago. Cant think of too many recent ones.

Sly, Freddie, and Rose Stone. Sly & the Family Stone. (Trumpeter Cynthia Stone was a cousin, not a sister)
Everly Brothers
Gladys Knight and the Pips
Carter Family
Carpenters
The Jacksons
The Roches
ESG
Kate and Anna McGarrigle

Good shout. Orbital are another one that spring to mind.

Don't forget the Shangri-La's - 2 X 2 sisters (one a pair of identical twins)

Glad no-one's mentioned Oasis yet!

Cant believe I forgot orbital, one of my favorites. And speaking of the Shangri-las, that reminds me: The Ronettes were two sisters and a cousin
You're glad no one's mentioned Oasis, and I'm glad no one's mentioned the Jonas Brothers

And don't say The Partridge Family. They weren't a real family, they just played one on TV. Heh heh
However, The Cowsills would be okay.

In my humble opinion the best by far are Ron and Russell Mael of the Sparks.
Then Kinks.
Then Kate & Anna McGarrigle

In Germany we have Inga and Anette Humpe. But they did their best work in their respective groups not in their collaboration as Humpe & Humpe.

Unless it would be

The Everly Brothers

And lets not forget:

The Sutherland Brothers (& Quiver)

And then there is the Kelly Family. They consisted at a time of nine siblings! Probably unknown in the US. (Consider yourself lucky.) But they were very successful in Germany. Sold some 20 Million albums.
