37. Sweet Harmony- The Beloved

I love everything about this 90s Europop hit.

The sentiment, the beat, the sax, everything about this is awesome.

38. Sing Sing Sing (With A Swing) Live by Benny Goodman

Probably the most famous big band composition to this day. And this live version is as hot as it gets. And, if you're a drummer, Gene Krupa's drumming on this track is everything.

39. "St. Louis Blues" by Bessie Smith and Louis Armstrong

The complexity and importance of "St. Louis Blues" cannot be understated.

Originally composed by W.C. Handy in 1914, this 1925 version which feature two of the greatest artists of their time, Bessie Smith and Louis Armstrong, is the definitive version.

It is a song that defies an easy categorization as Jazz or Blues in that it is one of the only tunes of the era to break the 12 bar blues scale. Its a great song, and the second half especially makes it an enduring piece of the time.

41. "Ain't No Half Steppin'"

Long Live The Kane by Big Daddy Kane

"Rappers steppin' to me. They wanna get some."

Anything that happened in rap after this point is indebted to the beat of Marley Marl and the flow of BDK.\

43. "Thirteen" by Big Star

Well, this is pretty much one of the only songs about teenage romance that is sincere and real enough to not be weird or saccharine. Congratualtions Alex Chilton and Chris Bell for being some of the greatest songwriters of their time.

44. "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley & His Comets
This another one that needs no justification for its inclusion into this list.

It's Sunday evening.

There's a light breeze coming in from the west northwest.

It is currently 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

The sky is mostly clear with the occasional cloud.

Thanks and have a great night.

Oh, and today's number is 5.
