Most Throbbing Gristle albums. Used to own half a dozen on vinyl and thought about re-purchasing a couple, but feel uncomfortable about it! If I was to re-invest , would probably go for 20 Jazz Funk Greats, the most accessible album in my view.
@Graeme2
I do need to give Tangerine Dream a chance. Love/Hate the backlog hell.
@SquishypuffDave
Welcome back. There is a bit of overlap from the dreamy electronic thread. I do need to give the track and an album of theirs a listen.
@liveinacar
Didn't know Throbbing Gristle had dark moments. But thank you for a funk record. Need more of those. Long live the funk.
Listening to it right now. It is a droning industrial album. Really cool for subverting my expectations and can see the relation considering a lot of electronic albums have influences in jazz and funk. And yes this is some eerie stuff right here.
I remember receiving it from my parents for my 15th birthday . I don't think they had any clue with the title and cover as to what I was listening to. they probably thought I was a 'nice' lad into his jazz and funk
Oh. I do want to include Vulnicura to the list. But I do want to include it to the dreamy electronic forum. And I feel it is the personal beauty of that record.
