Personally, I think Madvillain's Madvillainy was the answer to Pixies' Doolittle. The music sounds fun and upbeat while their lyrics are really dark and sinister.

I also think that Beastie Boys' Paul's Boutique was hip-hop's answer to The Beatles' Abbey Road. Of course, this is mostly due to the fact that both albums end with excellent medleys.
