My point wasn't that Yoshimi is overrated (even though it may have looked like I was leaning that way), it's a very solid album just that Embryonic deserves a considerably more balanced amount of credit in comparison. And I don't know whether it is totally without great songs, I think - for one - the populace would say that "Do You Realize?" is one of their best.
Thanks for agreeing with me though, sorry if I come off condescending. _________________ Some RYM paraphernalia:

I can't argue with that. I"m not sure I can argue in favor either, but I certainly won't argue against. An eminently reasonable hypothesis.

It's fine. I always feel like Yoshimi got pulled through on the wake of the amazing Soft Bulletin, and I'm always bemused when it ranks so high. While Embryonic always feels a little overlooked.

Vegas by The Crystal Method is one of the best EDM albums ever recorded. I'm baffled as to how an album with "Trip Like I Do", "Busy Child", "Comin' Back", "Keep Hope Alive", and "Vapor Trail" can be ranked so damn low. At the very least, it deserves to be among the Top 30 Albums of 1997.

one of the most reasonable "it should be ranked higher" comments i've seen in these parts. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.

Yup... it is a good album. Number 10 on my list of 97.

#5 on mine, ahead of even The Chemical Brothers' Dig Your Own Hole.
