The best LP of the 00s is Original Pirate Material.

The War on Drugs and Fleet Foxes are terribly boring. I don't enjoy anything I've sampled of theirs.

I can agree with Fleet Foxes, but I think The War on Drugs, at least their new album, is a good boring, if you know what I mean.

Hmmm... yeah - I like slow burners. Perhaps I'll try again. I sampled a bit of it and wasn't impressed, but slow burners do require a certain mood. I like Father John Misty's new record for that reason (soft rock is kind of slow burning for me... oh poop did I just call it soft rock, oh well).

Wait you listened to them? Well, that’s your problem right there.

Laughing

I try to listen to artists who seem to be respected by friends and this site...

I always felt the same way about Fleet Foxes.. and then I saw them live. Man that was great.. They really know how to build a beautiful wall of sound.

(War on Drugs last album I agree, but I still love 'Lost in the Dream')

Haha - that's funny cause I thought what I did sample of War on Drugs sounded like Springsteen.

The National has it's moments, but yes, they can be boring as hell too.
