Anyways, here's mine: Nirvana is largely overrated and the main reasons why it remained popular are how Kurt Cobain's life and death were romanticized, and the fact that many of their songs are easy to cover for beginning guitarists looking to get laid at high school/college parties.

PS: That is a factually incorrect way to spell Oasis, my guy.

-Hail To The Thief >> Kid A
-Jazz-Funk is the best form of Jazz
-Recovery is one of the most important and influential albums of the decade
-To Pimp A Butterfly is almost anything good but influential
-Tim Buckley is vocally the best artist on Scaruffi's (and AfterHours') top 100

Well, jazz-funk is at least good enough that I'm not going to argue. There's a few jazz-funk discs that get as much turntable time as anything else in my collection.

Trent Reznor has influenced some of my favourite artists, but I've never been a fan of Nine Inch Nails.

How I feel about Nirvana. I can’t stand their music personally, but I’m glad they happened because of all the artists I love that they inspired.
