^^^ I second this. Why certain things are given such a name, we may never know. What we love, whether it be music, food, or anything else, was obviously good enough in the opinion of at least one other person or it never would've been put out there for the rest of us to find in the first place.

We don't give amphibians enough of a chance, musically. If humans encouraged frogs to play instruments then gave them some privacy, they would almost certainly produce some mindblowing rock and roll.

I have sort of a reverse opinion of that, I love Nirvana and they were largely influenced by the beetles, whom I'm not huge on, but I can still appreciate them. Also my second favorite band (the 1975) was largely inspired by NIN go figure, but I can get down with NIN every now and again if i'm really feeling emo
