Was looking for new music

Google - came up with individual 100 best of for NME, rolling sone etc

Then Google came up with besteveralbums.com

Realised rather than sifting endlessly through one (biased) chart this combined them all

And I thank you all - because I've found some great new ( to me ) music

Welcome!

When I look for what is deemed to be the top albums from a particular artist this is where I come. In the last year I've got back into vinyl collecting. Not for profit. Purely because I love listening to music. Although I've got a list (that is constantly growing) of specific albums I'm looking for I like to run through the bins in search for artists I know but have never owned.
One example is Rod Stewart. Obviously without even owning a single record of his I could rattle off 20 of his songs. And I like him. I was interested in deeper cuts of his and what is considered his good albums. I found Footloose and Fancy Free and because it was ranked as 3rd of this best I picked it up. I loved it!
Another is Hall and Oates. I saw Abandoned Luncheonette was at the top of the list and I picked it up. Again I loved it.
So this site is very reliable in its lists. And helps me avoid some of the, shall we see 'lesser' albums from artists.

I have found BestEverAlbums after looking for recommendations of albums to listen.

It is the most honest when it comes to music criticization.
In my opinion, it is more honest than Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Rate Your Music, Metacritic etc.
The ranking calculation is accurately made and people's opinion matter much more than the critics'.

I'm so grateful that this site exists! Very Happy

I think like everyone I came Here looking for some new, good music. At first I searched for new albums based on two rolling stones lilsts: 500 best albums of all time and 50 best Prog albums of all time. But once I found this site the rolling Stones lists became invalid. Great Community

I sort my music alphabetically, but want to be able to search on music style. I created my own style structure: every album has a main style and a sub style. Example: Tomatito is World (main style) and Flamenco (sub style). I used BEA to gain advice on styles.
