Best Ever Songs: 2010s (POLL)

So basically looking at the ambitious (and successful) undertaking by the artist known as Hayden for the movie polls by decade, I think it's time to do a much-attempted but often abandoned attempt to chronicle the best ever songs. Again don't know if this is going to have any legs but it's at least worth a shot. So basically it's pretty straightforward in submitting lists of your favorite songs from this current decade (2010s), anywhere from a minimum of 10 to 100 max (though preferably in increments of 5, just to make the tallying-up process a lot easier). In terms of what's eligible, I'm going to be flexible, obv this is an album site but some songs probably also won't be album releases, so most likely Ill go by the rule (I think?) Hayden went by in that songs that were released simultenously in different formats in two different decades will be eligible for both lists, assuming a three-year-or-so time limit... or maybe just make songs eligible for two different lists, I guess Ill gouge what y'all think should be done in that regard.


Anyways hope enough of y'all lovely people show some interest and we can get this going, will probably push the deadline back to early october or so as it will probably still be quiet around here during the rest of the summer.
And yeah this thread can be used for any questions, suggestions, various commentary you might have, go nuts
Also lists can be either PMd or just posted in this poll, if you want to make any changes after sending/posting one list that's fine, the last one I get will be the one that counts towards the final rankings.


(PS And yes I'm going to try and get in touch with loveless and finally do the 2016 BEAMA presentation (NOT FUNNY!that's SICK!), even if admittely my personal interest has entirely waned but y'all deserve a belated awards show so it will go to the ball, cinderella)

I've meant to make lists of favorite songs for years. I never really have. It's always been kind of overwhelming. But hopefully breaking it down by decade will put a certain systematic aspect into the process which can get me to do it successfully.

I love this idea but I don't love this decade's music. I'll need to do a ton of listening to come up with a good list. When is the deadline?

Also, I'm assuming songs that were recorded in earlier decades but weren't released until this decade aren't eligible?
For example, The Smile Sessions by The Beach Boys and The Pinkerton Years by Rivers Cuomo. I like many songs from those but they're a far cry from the 2010s. (Even if they were allowed, I would probably avoid including them.)
