|
A weird title, but what are some artists with multiple albums, but only one classic. They may have multiple good albums, but I’m asking for those that only have one truly essential one. I don’t count artists that only have one album. They need to have at least two.

Their self-titled album is good, but I wouldn’t call it a classic, and Jar of Flies is an EP. I’m only talking about albums.

Well, lots of musicians only have one 'classic', but that doesn't make them one-album wonders 
Personally, I'd scrap Slint, Wu-Tang, Gang Of Four (Solid Gold?), Alice In Chains, and maybe even The Stones Roses off that list.
I'll second Television though, and raise you Jackson C. Frank.

Yeah I know, but isn't it up to par with Dirt? As for the self-titled and Facelift, both those albums were also multi-platinum selling, had a few radio hits, and generally well-liked among AIC fans.
