Not 100% sure it's a cowbell, could be a woodblock.. But still a cool groove : )

I know. Sometimes I'm not sure whether it's a cowbell or a woodblock. You would think the cowbell would sound more metal-y, but it actually doesn't.

And don't forget;

Funkytown. By Lipps Inc.

That's got to be the most extravagant use of cowbell in history. It actually plays a little Melody and does all kinds of shit.

Hahaha great, had to listen to be sure, even though I've heard it a thousand times and the cowbell is omnipresent. Still a great tune!

This thread made me listen to Jamiroquai again.
These two albums are full of cowbell.. But there's woodblocks & agogo bells too (= like a duo of mini cowbells Wink )

Emergency On Planet Earth by Jamiroquai
Check Hooked up for a classic 4 to the floor cb example

The Return Of The Space Cowboy by Jamiroquai
Check Stillness In Time, after about a minute.. nice combo of agogo, cowbell, woodblock & more..

Holy shit. You ain't seen Nothing Yet is just about my all time favorite single, so I don't know how I overlooked the cowbell in it. It's one of the greatest sounding cowbells too. It really packs a punch.

I. DID bring up that song. In the very first post. It's Don't Fear the Reaper. But I forgot if the band in that skit had their own name or if they just called them Blue Oyster Cult. But the record they're playing is Don't Fear the Reaper.
