almost qualifies for this thread, technically doesn't (because of a short 1.5 min song before it), but i'll mention it anyway:
genesis "supper's ready"
I heard Steve Hackett mention that many people have told him how much they like Horizons as an intro to Supper's Ready. So even though they are separate tracks, they work beautiful as an album side. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
If I had known that blue room was a whole album side on vinyl, it would have topped my list, considering the orb is my favorite act. It's funny how you never think about things beimg album-length when you only have the cd. There's also a 45 minutes single version of Blue Room, but I have no idea what format it was originally released on. I'm going to have to look that up.

Yeah - oddly enough I've only ever had my Orb LPs on vinyl, although I had the Blue Room CD single back in the day. One of the first I bought if I remember, from Woolworths of all places (although I got the second one with the radio edit and the Mad Professor remix of Towers Of Dub)
The original, non-LP, non-edited track lasts 39:58, coming in at 2 seconds short so that it wasn't classified as an album and therefore qualified for the UK Singles Chart. Regardless, it's a magnificent track. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing Folk 'n Stuff SHAMELESS RECORD DEALER PLUG

Yeah but what format was it? Was it a 12in? Was it two sides of a 12in? or one side of a 12in? It couldnt have been a 7 inch vinyl 45 RPM. What was it?
