Absolutely NOTHING in my 2017 chart is in anyone else's chart. See for yourself.

Top 27 Music Albums of 2017 by bobbyb5

Edit: I double-checked and there is one album that is in someone else's chart.

Not only are they not in anyone else's chart, I have no idea what any of it is. That's probably a reflection on me. Or maybe that's just what 2017 is like, with all the choice we have now, there's less and less common cultural touchstones.

I wouldn't call these excellent, but I do find them better than a lot of highly ranked 2017 albums:

It's like Marvin Gaye meets They Might Be Giants:

Mr. Finish Line by Vulfpeck

John Frusciante left the RHCP to make this:

Trickfinger II by Trickfinger

What it really is is that I just didn't listen to anything in 2017 besides electronic music. I really didn't listen to that much new music last year.

Do you delete an album from your chart If somebody else likes it Bobby Twisted Evil
I suppose there must be one album that somebody else likes that you like as well.

My recs would be:

Flat Worms by Flat Worms

Nothing Valley by Melkbelly

I just explained the reason. I said that I haven't listened to much new music at all this year. And only one type. Looking at your choices, looks like I haven't missed much. And if you are trying to imply that I'm a hipster who only likes music that nobody ever heard of, you would only have to look at all of my charts to see that the opposite is true, I've actually always liked the most mainstream and popular music there is. Unlike most people here.
