If there was one artist whose discography you could eliminate from the face of the Earth forever and ever, who would it be?

Bon jovi is a good answer, but, in an effort to pick something controversial, i'll choose Arcade Fire. Maybe The Killers as a back up plan.

I think you're onto something...hell, if we're going for controversial, why not pick something huge from the past?
Imagine how much different the music scene would be today if we destroyed Sonic Youth or The Pixies or Nirvana? Heck, what if The Beatles never happened? I mean, I would only want it to happen if I could remember the before/after... like walking into another dimension or something. It'd be cool to see. You know, for science and stuff. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.

But if an artist has an entire discography already, there's no "what if..." involved. There would be no need to wonder about "what might have been if only..." or " what wonderful thing did we mistakenly prevent from happening". We know how it turned out.

No tears would be shed by me. I'll add The Velvet Underground (and go put my flame suit on).

Death Grips
I don't like their music at all
Or Willie Nelson
Never did understand his appeal, that whiney voice!

The three bands I wouldn't miss if they disappeared forever from our top 20 artists are:
1. The Smiths
2. The Who
3. Bruce Springsteen
Oh and Oasis for sure.
Totally wouldn't miss any of this music. I mean there's the song or two, but really wouldn't shed a tear.
And as someone said, I'll now lock myself in a bunker.

If I were to do crap bands it'd probably be something like:
1. White Snake
2. Scorpion
3. Twisted Sister
And probably 239087643793 other crap bands.
