That is one of them. Need to listen to this again. Enjoyed it when I listen to this the first time.

As for me, people should check these out (apologies for the long post): |
Everything on your list that I've heard is amazing. Gonna have to check out that Nadah El Shazly record.
how about....
Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver

Awesome Glad someone else is enjoying them (not 100% sure if Nyoi Plunger is up your alley, but if you've already heard it and dig it, that's cool too). I think you'll enjoy El Shazly's record, it seems like something you'd appreciate. There are definitely moments on it that truly made me say 'oh, I've never heard anything like this before... and it's awesome'.
I've seen that Jane Weaver album pop up way too much over the last week to not queue it up. My 2017 round-up listen list is getting slightly overwhelming, but it's also proved to spill out a few of my favourites, so its been exciting. Wasn't too big on the new Ibeyi record or Ifriqiyya Electrique's Rûwâhîne (which perhaps I just had too high of expectations for...), but I thought this was pretty great, another slept on release:
IIII+IIII by ÌFÉ
Once again, super unique stuff. Here's the Bandcamp description (couldn't word it better myself)
"A 45 minute opening ceremony that seems equal parts blessing, adoration, and manifesto. From the way in which the music is conceived, a live electronic performance, no programming, to its component parts, Cuban Rumba, Sacred Yoruba praise songs, Jamaican Dancehall, and American R&B, to the way it moves seamlessly from English to Spanish to Yoruba, the music is willfully out of genre, yet focused and clear in a way that makes its newness seem rare, compelling."
