Appreciate it I used a similar technique with a Vince Staples verse on a track that ended up on the cutting room floor.
Meanwhile, to everybody, don't miss the new Black Thought EP (Vol. 2). It's brilliant. Honestly, combined as a single album, Vol. 1 & 2 would easily be in my top 10 of the year. Maybe even top 5.

I think the former is more popular due to how Melon gave this album a 10. One of the best albums for the year. But more importantly, in the internet age, people are revisiting these noisy records where back in the day unless you were in the know, these albums would be ignored. And now that you mentioned White Noise, I'll give that a listen at some point.

Earl Sweat outchea dropping masterpieces.
"Bad apple, daily clashing with my kinfolk, bad acid did damage to my mental, show you right, it took some passages to get grown, they been called me savage from the get go".
The best neurotic, insular, drug-addled, lo-fi, moody hip-hop rekkid since his last one. Between this, Behold a Dark Horse, Daytona, Punken, Big Bossin Vol. 2, Orpheus vs. the Sirens, Everything's Fine, Outsiders Live Forever, No News Is Good News, Room 25, Stay Dangerous, Supreme Blientele, and some other shit, it's been a good year for people who like good rap music. _________________ 2021 in full effect. And Nothing Hurt by Spiritualized
Dance and rock at the same time, initimate and orchestral at the same time, epic and sensitive at the same time; in short this is so far and a after few listens an album that has grown on my and is my best album of the year 2018, a year that is already blessed with many great albums.
Let's Dance and The Morning After (just listen to those saxes near the end of the song) are the absolute classics and also A Perfect Miracle and On The Sunshine are perfect pop songs. Just take a bath in this album and I'll promise you the water will not get cold !!!

Mozzy's Gangland Landlord is his best yet, for those keeping track of that sort of thing. Well worth your time. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

'Tis the list.
Great picks all around here, but I'm surprised at their... familiar #1. |
i'll have to go back and listen to that one a second time. i was stoked for its release (loved her previous album), but i was pretty disappointed. it struck me as rather bland and uninspired next to her other work. otherwise, i'm chuffed to see so many albums i haven't had a chance to listen to yet. there's so much music being released every day that it's hard to keep up with anymore. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
