This record crept in on me and I can't stop listening. Not sure why it's not getting any attention. Lush dream pop rich in nuance. Kind of reminds me of John Cale performing Slowdive's most delicate tunes.
The latest Son Lux record is also really exceptional.
Kanye is back on social media. He originally deleted his social medias to get into a creative process for his next album and has been up in a cabin atop a snowy Wyoming mountain. It's been about 2 years now so Yeezy season may be approaching. AOTY dropping soon, look out folks .
if you all wanna hear some kinda weird jazz that still has a lot to grab on to and doesn't go all noodily, you should check out Anteloper - Kudu https://intlanthem.bandcamp.com/album/kudu
It's Jaimie Branch, who had a very nice album that I need to spend more time with, released last year also on International Anthem, she is great with the trumpet and can bring some force to it. And then Jason Nazary on drums, he was with that band Bear In Heaven, I'm not really so much. So they got those instruments and also some synthesizers that they use to get a cool sound palette going. If you listen you might be thinking at first "wtf tap you said this wasn't noodily" but don't worry the first track just takes a little bit to heat up.
New Father John Misty album is out (and Tillman is well aware).
Also, new 7-track Kanye soon.
And Melody Echo Chamber.
Oh shit didn't know Father John Misty's record was out. Gonna have to check out that Sleep record as well. And you all already know I am excited as shit for those new Ye records.
