Lastly I rate my albums song for song, so I feel my 50s list has pretty solid albums (even if not box sets/anthologies) - to my discovery and taste at least.
Although she did produce some good albums later in her career, her prime years came with Columbia before the album era, and are comprehensively collected here on four essential discs.
There is a longer ten-disc version, but in my opinion it's not worth it to have six discs worth of alternate takes. _________________ Add me on RYM
