I had no idea Ledbetter wasn't on an album of theirs. I heard it live and totally fell in love, and swore it was a final track on one of their albums, but I guess not!

Yellow Ledbetter is on Lost Dogs which is an album of out takes and is on several of the live concert recordings, most often as the final encore. It is honestly one of my all time favorite songs.

Mason's Children- Grateful Dead
Brown Eyed Women- Grateful Dead (Only appears on live and compilation album W.A.L.S.T.I.B.)
Last Kiss- Pearl Jam ( I know its a cover but at one time t was their biggest selling single<at least in the USA>not sure if this is still true)
Crazy For You- Madonna
Sugar Mountain-Neil Young

There was a time you could say Pocahontas and Powderfinger but they were on the recently released long ago recorded Hitchhiker album

Does Izabella by Jimi Hendrix count? It was only put on posthumous albums.

Also For What It's Worth by The Buffalo Springfield was not originally on the early pressings and was only added later after it became a hit.

Bizzarely, this was deleted upon release as the word "Smash" was too much for the British public after the death of Princess Diana in a car crash. As far as I know, it is unavailable now in an official format. Great summer pop song pastiche.

Would have been one of the best tracks on a different class if it made the album but was a B-side and appeared on the Trainspotting soundtrack.
