What well known One-Hit Wonders should've had more than one hit? For me, it's definitely Semisonic (the guys who did Closing Time).

Secret Smile. That was a good one too.

Fountains of Wayne should have had many more hits than just Stacey's mom. Radiation Vibe would be one example.

There was a band in the 90's called Superdrag that sang a hit called "sucked out"

always thought I'd hear from them again.

similarily, around a similar time - The Folk Implosion had a song called "Natural One". seemed like they had more in them.

The Rembrandts should have never done that song for Friends. They were good apart from that one hehe. "Don't hide your love" is really nice. Don't think it was a hit though.

Shocker but I am going to have to go with the Grateful Dead who only had one top 40 song. Touch Of Grey off In the Dark. They have other songs that have gotten airplay over the years any of them should have been hits including: Truckin', Ripple, Friend Of The Devil, Casey Jones, Uncle John's Band, Alabama Getaway, Shakedown Street,and Throwing Stones all receive some radio play to this day any of them could have an in my opinion should have been hits.

To me, everything that got released from James after this two week number one of his in 2008 should've done just as well if not better.
