Thank you

The following will probably be added ... may need to revisit first: The Low End Theory, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), The Slim Shady LP...

Also, Death Grips' Exmilitary will be added, but I'm not sure about Money Store (haven't heard that one)...

I doubt I'll add Yeezus, though it's possible Scaruffi underrates it ...

Haven't heard the rest, but I'll look into them

I dont particularly care if I agree or disagree with him. Though obviously I agree with him much more than otherwise... I was simply acknowledging the fact that Ive listened to Yeezus and probably wouldnt rate it so low as he has (though I am undecided on its rating) ... though I also doubt I'd place it 7/10 or above

How about you spend a whole month just listening to stuff that's new for you while not looking at a single Scaruffi page throughout the month?

I used to get a head start listening to a bunch of a year's albums before Scaruffi did (not hard to do, especially these days). I just don't have time anymore. The results were virtually the same anyways... These days, I can't be bothered to listen to dozens of albums below 7 or 6/10 while trying to find the best ones -- it's just impractical for me and not worth my time... It saves me countless hours to allow Scaruffi to separate the best and worst ones first, then start from there.

Anyone who has devoted even 1/10th as much time, effort and analysis to understanding art as much as he has is someone whose thinking is well worth one's attention, in my opinion. It is possible that he has assimilated more art than, literally, anyone -- ever. Does that mean one should automatically agree with his views? No. But I do feel he is well worth looking into and that investing in his selections and assimilating them for oneself has proven to be very very valuable to me, and I'm sure, many others. I know of no other more efficient and effective way to discover the greatest works art has to offer than this.
