About 15 in total but someone needs to explain Rufus Wainwright to me. How can a single person not belong to a country? He was born somewhere wasn't he? His sis is clearly Canadian. Go figure

People with one Canadian and one American parent have dual citizenship. Loudon Wainwright was American and whichever McGarrigle sister he married was Canadian.

The title question is different from the poll question so my vote was incorrect but 10 countries total. Of the eight countries in question (not UK or US) there are currently 21 total albums on my chart. Australia has 8 thanks completely to Nick Cave while Canada has 6. Oops, I just noticed two albums are of "mixed nationality" which isn't a country so they don't count (VU&Nico is US/UK though to be honest I'm not even sure about Madvillain). So 19 it is? Iceland, Norway, Germany, France and Jamaica have one each... My chart is past due for an update, though, and there are a couple countries I'm surprised didn't get on.

whoops I voted for 20's because that's how many other countries I have but the full album count is like 46 so I shoulda gone for the top. so I guess that's pretty geographically diverse? I think when I get around to redoing it that could go even higher.

Sorry for the misleading title topic. I wish I could change it. The poll title was right though. I
Anyway, we'll concentrate on the interesting messages. I think tuat your chart is the most diverse so far
I will surely check it out!

ah I was going speedy with my vote I could've read closer too. but yeah it's weird, I'd expect to see more for other people too because of how this site is set up for artist nationality by the country they grew up in. I'm sure there's a few of mine who immigrated to the USA or UK in adulthood and that's where they rly got going with music. But I guess also I've got a lot more solo artists than bands, which may be a factor in that.
Here's the breakdown
9 France
8 Germany
3 Italy
3 Austria
3 Mixed Nationality
3 Japan
2 Canada
1 Algeria
1 Netherlands
1 Australia
1 Mali
1 Iran
1 Croatia
1 Venezuela
1 Finland
1 Denmark
1 Romania
1 Greece
1 Turkey
1 Switzerland
1 Ireland
1 Portugal
