Sometimes I get lost in YouTube performances. I think I'll start collecting them here.

Rule 1: Live (or close to it)
Rule 2: Less than 20-30 minutes
If video is longer than that - pick a single song or 3 from the performance that is best.
This is a highlight real, if that makes any sense.

I love this Talking Heads performance. Still when Adrian Belew was playing guitar for them. He absolutely shreds.

I like this thread. I hope you don't mind...it's a great place to introduce you to the next ex Mrs. Romanelli. In just 7 minutes, she managed to fire me up, turn me on, break my heart, stomp all over me, toss me aside like so much trash, and make my dreams come true. All of this and she has not one time picked up the phone and called me. Not once. If I ever meet her, I think I might tell her how much I appreciate it all...as long as she plays this song for me...

Ha, she's a local gal. I hope she continues to receive more nationwide recognition. She plays out at a venue called Knuckleheads all the time.

Thanks!

I actually don't think I've ever seen the Talking Heads outside of music videos... this will be very cool to watch!

Watching it now, and he totally takes their performance to the next level, doesn't he?

Cool to see Tina play a Höfner.

And thought the backup singer on Cities brought some cool energy dancing.

Doood... this is quite the show. THANK YOU! That jam at about 30 minutes...

Awesome - maybe Chief can hook you up with her number! At least you know where to find her now. (dude... I just realized Kansas City Chiefs... I always thought Lords of the Underground, or even Black Eyed Peas... now I get the "dual meaning" if there was meant to be one there.

Anyway, that was indeed the performance Romanelli. The next Ex... Laughing

This band live is absolutely amazing (see AAL2014's post about it), even if you aren't a fan... you must recognize the life force energy explosion coming out of this band... even 30 years into it... take us to church! (and we're not even religious)

U2's a bunch of wankers... oh really, you try getting 200k people that pumped...

I'm not 100% certain this is actually live... likely overdubbed or what have you, but still is a "music video" showing a performance of one of my favorite artists.

Cool to see that really old EB0 by Gibson.

Yes, besides the Lords reference, it's also for the Chiefs, BUT it's really because my last name has the word "Rock" in it. Some people have variously called me Rocky as a nickname, and other geological derivations. The names got layers.
