I've always liked this band a lot and I feel like I should be their biggest fan. For some reason though I don't have the attention span for their albums, but I love quite a few of their tracks.

I'm not sure why anyone would not like at least something by this band. It would be like not liking rainbows, puppies or ice-cream!

There's a lot for me to still discover but here are my favourites...

1.Birdhouse in your soul
2.Hide away, folk family
3.Bangs
4.Dr Worm
5.Boss of Me
6.Bee of the Bird of the Moth
7. Anna Ng
8. The Mesopotamians
9. I Palindrome I
10. She's an angel

What are yours? No need to do a full top 10 unless you want to. Also-what is their best album and why cant I get into them?

I only know the 1st four albums and the compilation Don't Let's Start but they are pretty amazing.

Birdhouse In Your Soul is the song that got me into them back in 1990 and my favourite song of theirs.

Other songs I like by them are:

Ana Ng
Don't Let's Start
Cowtown
Women and Men
I'll Sink Manhattan
Minimum Wage
The World's Address
When It Rains It Snows
Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head
She's An Angel
Shoehorn With Teeth
Santa's Beard
Kiss Me, Son of God
Particle Man
We Want A Rock
Whistling In The Dark
Hot Cha
The Statue Got Me High

My favourite album is Flood closely followed by Lincoln.

Yeah, they are the kind of a band with a lot of cool lesser known tracks but the best one is probably the most obvious!

Particle Man could be a divisive track. I find it a little annoying!

Amazingly, I've just powered through the first four albums back to back!

All very good and maybe overall chart worthy. They are really first rate songwriters. I've got to add to my list of favourites:

Snowball in Hell
Dead
Whistling in the dark (great choice Stover)
Mammal
Hovering Sombrero (from a later album but narrowly missed the cut when I did my top 10 before)

I don't know any of these!! I get the impression from the titles they might be from the children's albums. Not judgeing or anything hehe I like what I've heard of their children's stuff (basically, here come the 123s) "Triops has three eyes" was kind of my jam for a bit Cool

Yeah they're from the albums called Here Come the ABCs, No! and Here Comes the Science. I like the music better on those then on the regular albums.

I forgot about Istanbul. That would definitely have to be my favorite. It's an awesome song. Although I can think of about three versions of it that are just as good. That's because it's such a great song that nobody can ruin it.
