so with the artists on your top 10, have you gone thru and obsessively tracked down all of their stuff, or feel the need to in the future? or for like more minor releases, are you ok skipping those in favor of exploring completely unknown stuff? there's pros and cons in both, like even if the minor releases aren't the greatest, they can enrich your understanding of the things that are your favorite. but on the other hand, there's so much to explore. the thing that made think of this is Tim Hecker - My Love Is Rotten To The Core. It's sort of a minor release, but it's a really special one. It's all built out of samples of Van Halen music and interviews, and I think it gives a unique perspective on his use of granular synthesis in his early work. It's really great, check it out if you haven't.

Some point I will give that Tim Hecker release a listen. But to answer your question I do want to venture and go through all there stuff at some point and I would say out of all the ten artist, I will say Boards is the one I have venture within there ep's as well as some songs like Seven Fourty Seven or Poppy Seed. However, when I get there, it will definitely happen several years later just to find new stuff.

I am almost all the way through your top 10. I had only listened to two at the start, so there was a lot of ground to cover. When I am done I will post some thoughts here and rank the albums. It would be cool to see how everyone else ranks them too. How would we collectively take your top 10 apart and put it back together? If others want to post their rankings I can compile the numbers at the end of the month. _________________ Add me on RYM

What percentage of 100/100 albums have you rated on the site? If it's been a good chunk/all, then you can actually just copy your ratings out of a CSV.

My rankings:
1. To Pimp A Butterfly (by far)
2. Pop
3. Geogaddi
4. Velocity : Design : Comfort
5. The Age of Adz
6. The Mollusk
7. California
8. Virgins
9. Carcal
As I said earlier I'm not listening to MedĂșlla because I am planning to go through her entire discography soon and want to start from Debut.
Overall, I had a shit ton of fun with this month. Thanks for the sweet music Luigi, you have some excellent picks here. Honestly I can see a Gas album making my overall eventually, so thanks for putting me onto him.

Probably a fifth or less of my listening. I have almost 70 albums out of 520 of what I have listen.

Glad that you love the hell out of the record. One of the best albums of 2000 and the decade.
