When I caught up on my Queen album listening late last year, I thought I would really enjoy this one, but it ended up being one of my least favorite of the classic era Queen albums. Some great moments but some near dreadful ones as well.

What was your favorite?

I still think A Night at the Opera is their most cohesive piece but Queen 2 has some absolutely stellar and more raw moments and is a close second for me. Jazz is underrated and I find The Game to be a bit overrated.

This sums it up pretty well. I only want to add that It's Late is one of the most underrated Queen tracks.

In the groups prime, guitarist Brian May and irrepressible lead singer Freddie Mercury provided a steady flow of bombastically catchy rock hits. Mercury's outrageous stage presence and mock operatic vocal range established queen as a ranking concert draw, ruling at the very peak of the concert scene.

news of the world isn't their best work. For me its below average.
But it does have two of the most popular jock rock pomp stomp (we are the champions and we will rock you).
i must admit, these 2 songs sounded so amazing when they were released!!!
