|
My List is Who I think is the best of course my personal biases will come into play a little bit:
1950-59: Chuck Berry (Love Krupa, Rich, and Holly but had to give it to Chuck, The King is overrated)
1960-69: The Beatles (Easiest choice for me even though its arguably the best decade)
1970-79: Neil Young (favorite would be Grateful Dead) (Bowie also deserves mention)
1980-89: Prince (I much Prefer him to MJ) (U2 deserves a mention)
1990-99: Tupac Shakur (Considered Dre especially if you count his producing)
2000-09: Eminem (Love him not much of a Radiohead guy but they are probably #2)
2010-current: Kendrick Lamar (Considered King Gizzard)

This is really hard, because some decades it's easy to pick just one, and some decades it's impossible to pick just one.
1950's....Duane Eddy
1960's....Beatles, Moody Blues, Creedence Clearwater Revival
1970's....Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Kraftwerk, Carole King
1980's....Psychedelic Furs
1990's....Chemical Brothers, Stone Temple Pilots
2000's... The Orb
2010's.... I know I'm running out of time, but I haven't got a favorite artist yet.

But seriously, Adele and Ed Sheeran are so bad compared to Pink Floyd, and even the Beatles, there has to be a reason!
