Happy birthday!!
We're the same age now, for a little over three months at least.
P.S. Just realized I hit the 3000 post milestone yesterday, and fittingly it was posting that I was listening to this gem. Luigii I think you would like it, as would most hip-hop fans who haven't heard it. I see Chief's already a fan. But obviously this is not for the game.

Thank you for the belated birthdays as I write this. But also need to talk about this album.
I await for the next album for 2001. But this was a welcoming and really interesting hip hop album for 2002. There was a lot from this that was great. From the dreamy hip hop instrumentals as well as the verses from a pretty impressive list. I mean you have M.F Doom on this and he does as well as he is known for. If there was any complaints it would be having some more dreamy hip hop beats within the track listing. Also that punch line on Aural S(Ect)s just felt weird. But otherwise I thank you Bay. Grade it's an 85 but could be a 90 in the future.

Who's Loving You is a Smokey Robinson song later recorded by the Jackson 5, with lead vocals from Michael. _________________ Add me on RYM

Midnight Marauders by A Tribe Called Quest
That was cool. I think I liked it more than The Low End Theory, but that was good as well. I probably would have listened to this a bit at the time if I had of had a copy, when I was into De La Soul for a while. It would probably grow on me if I listened to it a few more times. 7.5/10 (which is a good score from me for a hip hop album), and 27/34 for 1993.
Let's go with Explosions In The Sky Luigii.

This is one of those moments where I do enjoy this album and do believe its a good album. But it doesn't hit me as I want the record to. Which is a shame because I realistically been wanting to give Explosions In The Sky a listen at some point. Maybe some of there other records will hit me harder with there soundscapes, but as of now this is just a good album. Grade wise:75

Pash, glad you enjoyed Midnight Marauders. Now let's listen to another hip hop album with Aquemini.

M.I.A.
Larks' Tongues In Aspic by King Crimson
Possibly and arguably the best progressive rock album of all time - as are pretty much all of King Crimson's early albums I should add- this pushed progressive rock to the edge WITHOUT being pretentious and sounding ORGANIC two things which really make King Crimson standout. King Crimson were simply badass. An intellectual metal band that didn't sound like they were "trying" to be intellectual. They just were. That's who they were. No effort required which is why it sounds organic. Natural. Something which many of its peers - who efforts can be admired but who never achieved this organic, natural sound - never achieved. Besides pink Floyd who arguably aren't even a progressive rock band but let's face who could also seamlessly just go out to the very edge of any song and then reel everything back without a hitch and sounding completely effortless in the process.
Grade A+ (Masterpiece)
Luigi listen to Aesop Rock's labor Days. I love that album.
