I remember at the time this was my favorite Nirvana imitator band. The fact that they were really young made it kind of cute or something

Here in Aus, at the time, older musicians would refer to them as “Nirvana in Pyjamas”... a play on words with a TV show for little kids called Playschool, that had “Bananas in Pyjamas” characters (and song).

“Tomorrow” was the big single. Further on, Daniel Johns refused to play it. He said he had no idea what the song was about.

For me, the first and last album of theirs I was really into was Diorama. Really creative songwriting, and technicolor orchestrations by Van Dyke Parks (of Beach Boys production fame).
