I think a top 20 should be fine! I definitely think Erykah's Badu album should be in it. As well as either Baths or Flying Lotus.
I'd take out Arcade Fire's The Suburbs. I don't think it's aged all that wll. I actually really like our top 20 except for that one album.

That has ended up a damn fine top 20, with a lot of quality albums, and I think quite an accurate representation of the combined tastes of those of us who took part. Great to see The National deservedly top the chart. Allo Darlin' at 2 is a bit of a surprise....though good on it. I wouldn't change anything, unless there is a late submission and Baystate is prepared to redo the math. Which must have bern a bit of an undertaking so thanks for doing that. I live seeing maths and music mix

I'd be willing to take late entries from anyone who's interested until we collectively decide to finalize our top 20. However, everyone doing a late entry would need to abide by an honor system to rank the albums strictly in terms of personal preference and not to rank with a desired end in mind. For instance, if your favorite 2010 album is Aphrodite by Kylie Minogue, it has to be #1 on your list, even though it may have no chance of entering the top 20 as a result.

This list is far more in line with my taste than I expected it to be. Allo Darlin' at number two? I'm crazy happy about that.

I'm going to suggest that whatever the top 20 is this Saturday June 8 at noon Eastern Time should be the absolute final list. Any late lists or specific motions to edit, the time is now. I'm also going to suggest that any motion to edit needs at least four users supporting it to succeed.

Swapping out Children Collide for Erykah Baidu. Love Children Collide but not quite top 20 material imo. It would be good to have more r&b in our top 20.

I would support this, although I really enjoyed the album. I would also support (and prefer) swapping out Eddy Current Suppression Ring or The Soft Pack. Whatever can get the most support. But I'm thinking that unless we get more submissions that change the dynamic, we'll probably end up back at square one once everyone weighs in.
