Three pretty great post-hardcore albums were nominated for the 2010 tourney. Women's Public Strain is (by far) the most popular. Eddy Current Suppression Ring has the most kiwi rock influences (which I love). And Tera Melos' Patagonia Rats is the most likely to give Fishman a hard-on. What's your favorite?

My favorite here is certainly Public Strain. Although they overdo it a bit on drones like Bells, I really liked this album enough to include it in my personal top.

The other two will not make it to my top chart although I fairly liked Rush To Relax but what killed it for me was the 24 minutes sound of sea waves at the end.
Patagonian Rats was not really my thing.

An extension is fine but I don't think it's necessary. I'm pretty this list includes all the prople that are still interested in this project. Five's actually a really good number I think.

This is fantastic. Definitely not for everyone but for those that don't mind some punky experimental rock with a variety of influences. The only album so far I am going to rank higher than some of my own choices.

I've got to say this was a worthwhile experience. I found a few great albums I may not have heard otherwise, and listened to some albums from genres I hadn't heard before, including a couple I hadn't even heard of before. There was a real mixed bag of genres represented in these 65 albums. Had a lot of fun broadening my musical experience.
