Apparently Ameer Vann is back with a new project (I thinks its actually an EP?). From what I understand it's out in New Zealand and Australia, but not yet in other parts of the world.

My issue of what-underappreciated-2019-album-to-listen-to-on-a-quiet-Sunday:

Bismillah by Peter Cat Recording Co.

Folk-ish rock-pop. Really easy listen, and the lead singer has a great voice.

Force For Good by Ryan Porter

Hip-hop saxophone ambassador/aficionado.

Bedroom Tapes by Ebi Soda

That funky UK jazzy jazz.

Angels On The Slope by Lisel

Hval/Newsom/Holter esque, but maybe a step or two down the ladder.

Little Electric Chicken Heart by Ana Frango Elétrico

A step up from Eletrico's last, modern MBP.

The Donner Party by Deca X Neon Brown

Hip-hop EP (well... it's short anyway). Along the lines of Open Mike Eagle/Milo/Elucid, etc... just give it a spin, it doesn't take long.

The Sacrificial Code by Kali Malone

A soundtrack for harvesting organs.

I'm so hyped. Shocked

In the meantime listen to this excellent sludge/post-metal release that dropped 3 days ago. One of their best, even though they've released several genre-defining albums in the early/mid 2000s.

After last two realeasead, expectations for Nick Cave are sky high. Hell, he could even be the artist of the decade for me if the new albums is in the same league as the previous two.

Apparently it’s gonna be a double LP named Ghosteen, 8 + 3 songs. First 8 are “the children”, the two on the 2nd LP are linked by spoken word piece and are “parents”. Don’t know what the hell that means but it’s an interesting concept, and I cannot wait for next week.
