Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

So, I really enjoyed the album. Interestingly, lyrically I thought the song of my type didn't quite hit the mark, extrapolating too much on one rather tangential element of the personality type. Between my wife and three kids, there are three other personality types an the songs absolutely nailed two of them. It makes sense that the artist would present some better than others, but overall, quite an achievement I think.

Yea, it doesn't totally shock me that each song doesn't 100% connect with everyone (it'd be pretty incredible if it did haha), but I think when it does connect, it connects pretty deep, at least it did for me and my wife.

Glad to hear you liked it!

The Age Of Immunology by Vanishing Twin

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this album yet, but I just got around to listening to it a couple days ago and it's some pretty excellent psychedelic pop, if that's your kind of thing

It's pretty good but a bit too dreamy for me personally. A very respectable record, and if dream pop's your thing you'll like it.

Well, not an album album, but Burial's releasing comp of all his tracks from this decade, which technically have never been released on an album before, so... it's kinda an album (we've had these before in the twee pop and house worlds). If we're thinking of it along the lines of AAL's release last year, it's an absolutely colossal work.

Also, don't sleep on this one:

Kubali by MC Yallah x Debmaster

Really banging hip-hop from west Africa. Short, worth a spin.

And what a good month for jazz...

Memory Streams by Portico Quartet

Polyhymnia by Yazz Ahmed

Le Temps Fou - The Music Of Marion Brow...han Jurion

All great releases.
