Hmmm… there's always so much - maybe too much - music from the Beatles, Lennon, McCartney and so on, on the radio… so I never felt the need to add a whole album of them to my collection. Not my cup of tea...

We hardly ever get Beatles music on the radio, unless it is a golden oldies station and not always then.

I love this album, it's so raw and powerful and it speaks to me. Great stuff.

After the beatles broke up, this was Johns first solo creation. A undisputablable 10/10.

At this point in time: the media had John depicted as the tough rock genius and McCartney as the pop craftsman.
It really is facile and unfair to Paul. But this album really showed the differences between himself and Paul.
On this album John shows his brilliance. His anger and catharsis.

For me, he shrugs off his gigantic stardom and reclaims the blACK LEather spirit of his Liverpool youth
IE; like "working class hero"
"Mother" sounds so painful, kinda spine chilling.
Amazing rock tunes ie; "i found out' and "well, well, well"
John put his heart and soul in this album and it really is one of the most demanding albums ever made.
