If you look at a bunch of new users' profiles, you'll find they are all rating the same albums 100/100, with no other activity to speak of. I'm referring to all the new usernames that are variations on the word daddy or the n word, as well as some other new usernames such as Boobs and Acdc.

It appears to be a single very immature fan of AC/DC and Judas Priest.

An album with very suspicious activity:

The Last Love Song by Andy Hackbarth

Can't find any buzz about it anywhere (no news articles, reviews, Wikipedia page, or RYM page; Bandcamp page has no supporters), but it's the 17th top-rated album of the 2010s on BEA, thanks to a couple clusters of activity from what appear to be burner accounts from one person.

Here's another (somewhat less obscure) album the same accounts have boosted to a very high rating:

Chris Thile & Brad Mehldau by Chris...ad Mehldau

Based on the patterns, I'd wager they're sock puppet accounts of pjohnsongolf.

I didn't say the second album was not notable. It's the patterns of activity that are fishy. Comparing the activity on the two albums is evidence that the accounts I'm talking about have the same behavior.

Thanks AM. I think that covers one of the two spam clusters. The other being the following five users with extremely similar account activity, all active rating and charting these two albums within a week:
