Words doesn't really exists, nor convey things that this LP has done for my feelings. Absolutely one of the greatest albums ever, quintessential lo-fi music, with the ultimative form of integrity. First time I heard it, I started crying and: 1. Music rarely makes me wipe out a tear, let alone makes me cry - 2. I didn't even get the lyrics yet, it was just the stunning music. And when I read the lyrics, it only went uphill from there.
It made it to my top 20 favorite albums, deservedly so!! Charlie Lima Alfa Sierra Sierra India Charlie..
R.I.P. to my man Elliott. But you are surely one of the few artists whose music is so moving, that it can periodically convince that you're still with us _________________ My Top 100 :

Brilliant record, and in my opinion, Elliott's greatest work... Every song in here is great, Elliott was such an amazing songrwiter and a hell of an underated guitarist, love the guy.
My pick tracks would be: Speed Trials, Alameda, Angeles and Say Yes

Some ideas cannot be expressed in a finite number of words, but only through the immediacy of music, or so says Kierkegaard. In Either/Or, he wrote of his obsession with Mozart’s opera, Don Giovanni, repeatedly attending performances from the wings of the theater so that the visual elements didn’t interfere with the experience. This was the most extreme expression of the sensual that he could imagine. And he wasn’t the only philosopher to give music a special place among the arts — Schopenhauer and Nietzsche also believed it possessed unique sensual qualities.
Any artist who can master the division between the sensual and the logical has the world by the throat.
