Fischman, joyofdivision & Norman Bates: you're not too late - thanks for the nominations!
I'll set the final nomination deadline for tomorrow at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. Then I'll finalize the seeds and post the play-in round matches. _________________ Add me on RYM

Nominations are now closed, seeds have been rechecked and locked in, and the bracket is randomized (see spreadsheet in OP for bracket). Will post the play-in matches ASAP. _________________ Add me on RYM

Cool!
At what pace? I was hoping to catch up, but don't want to slow the game down. Just curious what you had already planned.

Here's a good place to start, not because it's my nom or anything, and definitely not because it'll need all the help it can get against Low's best album in like... 2 decades.

My plan is to mirror last year:
Two weeks for the play-in matches plus extensions if requested. Then four weeks for round one plus extensions if requested. Then one week plus extensions if requested for the remaining rounds.
BEA average rating as a tiebreaker. This does not apply to the championship or third-place matches. One-day extensions until the tie is broken will take place for those if necessary. _________________ Add me on RYM

Dude had great flow. Also I don't know you very well, but likely if there were a style that encapsulated what I do know about you, that track would be it. Nice track!

Fair enough. It's definitely the kind of hip-hop I'd love to hear more of. There's points on the album where it's really just bars ontop jazz. Sadly, I think it's going to be the guy's last release..., but it's certainly climbing on my decade list, and I'm hoping those who haven't heard it give the record a decent shot
