I don't know what you've heard already. You seem to like the Rolling Stone top 500 list. You could listen to the next albums on there you haven't heard yet and work your way up. Of you could do the same thing with the Overall Chart here, as a start.

Being serious for a minute - I don’t think you’d go far wrong sinking your teeth into Big Star’s discography. Relatively concise, would fit in nicely to what your Overall chart features, and above all some well-crafted power pop that should hopefully resonate:

#1 Record by Big Star

Radio City by Big Star

3rd by Big Star

Yeah, so I had a sconce at your overall chart also and have pulled out a few albums you may enjoy, I see also you're a fan of the Rolling Stone 500 Albums chart also which isn't a bad starting point, I perused it quite a bit when I was still a tyke, so it might be no harm in just picking albums you haven't heard off that, just whatever catches your attention and in time you'll find more and more stuff you like and what areas you tend to gravitate towards more in terms of your tastes (be it genres, labels, etc.), there's plenty of wonderful folks on this site who'll send you on the right track. Anywho, I digress, try out these if you'd like:

Veedon Fleece by Van Morrison
Based on your inclusion of Astral Weeks in your top 20 you may get something from this, as much as I love Astral Weeks, this just beats it out everytime and I've a hunch I'm not the only one round these parts that feels that way.

The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan by Bob Dylan
Obligatory rec of my (current) favourite Dylan album (Nashville Skyline has clambered into a close second though as the girlfriends father gave me a copy and I've been spinning it a lot more ever since).

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
With What's Going On being in your top 10 you should no doubt get something from this (or also Here My Dear).

I reckon these are some decent jumping off points (along with Jimmy's Big Star rec which I heartily second). Happy listening!

I recommend the first two opinions Big Star and Black Sabbath, but there is a lot work to do when you want to hear so much music Mr. Green

Going from your chart I would suggest:

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder

it's long but it's worth it

Hunky Dory by David Bowie

Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex...ex Pistols

classic punk album

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers

that's my rec's. happy listening mate
