XXX by Danny Brown
Today's anniversary is a good hardcore album that has gotten a big boost in popularity since Atrocity Exhibition's release. My unpopular opinion is that Old is far better and this is his third best. _________________ Add me on RYM

Blonde by Frank Ocean
Today's anniversary is a grower for sure. But I see it has just passed Channel Orange, and I'm not sure I agree with that. Which album do you prefer? _________________ Add me on RYM

#208 / #209 is quite close for BEA
I'm not sure which of the two I prefer anymore. It used to be Channel Orange, but Blond's grown a bit with me. I still think there's a bit of filler near the end, and I can only imagine how much fuller it would've been with Chanel and Biking on there, but overall I find the two relatively even.

My Woman by Angel Olsen
Great album for today's anniversary. Interesting that it's by far the highest-ranked Angel Olsen album on BEA. I prefer Burn Your Fire For No Witness. What's your favorite Angel Olsen album? _________________ Add me on RYM

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Very succinct and could be expounded upon, but spot on:
"Funeral evokes sickness and death, but also understanding and renewal; childlike mystification, but also the impending coldness of maturity." - David Moore, Pitchfork
I have to admit, when this first came out, I wasn't immediately convinced like my brother this was going to be the next greatest thing. I liked their instrumentation and they reminded me a bit of the Talking Heads, so I was like, yeah, I this is pretty good, but why are you shitting yourself? Then about 5 years later I put it on and listened to it like non-stop... I all of a sudden was entranced. A few years later I understood what this album was about and it just entrenched my value of it. Anyway, I'm sure we be bored by now with comments on this album cuz we gotta get that new hit, but really, slow down and appreciate this again sometime soon. It's worth it.
Also wow time flies... 15 years, really?

Wow, today's top anniversary is a rare Ying Yang Twins comp that appears on one chart by a mysterious user. Has anyone heard all of these songs? I only recognize a couple.
