The first album I listened from Arctic Monkeys and I really love it. The single "Do u wanna know" is fantastic although I must admit I have got a bit tired of it. I like how each album shows a different face from this prolific band/frontman.

The first time i heard AM, several years ago i thought it was good, nothing compared to their debut, but i found it better than their sophomore, in fact i initially disliked Favourite Worst Nightmare, except for Fluorescent Adolescent, Only Ones Who Know, "D" is for Dangerous and some other songs, now i think it's their best. But anyway, in the way that FWN grew on me, AM didn't.
I don't think AM is a bad record, but i find it to be somewhat boring and lackluster, it lacks of the energy and passion that their first two records had (haven't listened to Hamburg or Suck It And See) There are still some great songs here and there, "Do I Wanna Know" is their biggest song ever and it's not bad, but i have been getting tired of it. "Arabella" and "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?" are highlights of the record for me as well. And i never knew what's with all the hype for "R U Mine" i think it's good, has a good riff, but that's it, i think it can be pretty boring and tiresome. The production isn't that bad either, it's just not as raw or even interesting as past records. And in my opinion some of the lyrics in this thing seem like bad poetry; "If you like your coffee hot, let me be your coffee pot".... Overall, not a bad record but certainly not as good or even as entertaining as some of the records they have delivered in the past.
Pick Tracks:
-Do I Wanna Know?
-Arabella
-Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?

It's a fantastic record and in my mind tied with their debut for their best album. Totally different sound yet quality is the same, extremely fun and catchy and suitable for almost every situation. Just so listenable and interesting every time.
I Want It All is the only filler song for, and I think I'm not that crazy about Knee Socks and Snap Out Of It like most people are, but I love No 1 Party Anthem and especially Fireside which is just a perfect pop song. _________________ All time
