14 in common, which means we have a strong common basis. Too much Radiohead, and I don't understand how someone which such good taste can chart Dark Side of the Moon.
I'm not into Hendrix at all, but I can definitely understand why someone would. So overall, a good chart indeed.

I feel like you're saying this just to get reactions. I mean considering DSotM is one of the most acclaimed albums of all time (both by critics and public).

BTW I got 28 albums in common with this chart

No. I know it's a lost cause. We are asked to comment on these charts, that's what I did. A good enough chart for me to be surprised that this extremely overrated album should be comprised in it. I have already stated this opinion, and never got any reaction, I'm certainly not craving for one right now. It's just opinion. Whether this album is highly praised or not is none of my concern (well, not exactly, since from this popular approval I came to listen to it).

I don't have a problem with you or anybody not liking DSotM at all. It's just that it is one of those albums that is so universally liked that it's hard to be "surprised" by seeing it included in.. well, anyone's chart (and it's not like this is some sort of hipster "hairymarx-esque" chart either).

I mean you say that while you're not into Hendrix, you can understand why he would like him. But you can't understand why he would like DSotM?

I can't. Even if I don't like Hendrix, I can see why a rock fan would like his works. If it means something, I have "respect" for Hendrix's work, because I can see where he takes blues from and where he tries to take it. It's not my cup of tea, but it's great. Whereas Dark Side of the Moon seems to me extremely pretentious and artificial. I'm not saying I can't see why it couldn't be liked, mind you, anything can be liked, but I wonder at seeing someone who shares a lot of my tastes sensitive to something I can't relate to, and even find utterly incompatible with what I like in music. But hey ! That's the joy in people, they can be oh so surprising.

That top 10 is delicious. If only #9 and #11 were swapped it would be godlike.

I have 40 albums in common. Wow. Awesome chart though. I could do without Trout Mask Replica, but a great top 10. Also, it's great to see another chart with King of Delta Blues Singers. I think that album doesn't get the credit it deserves. Just wish it was higher
