Just updated the best of Coppola (plus GF 3 to complete revisits for the series), who I started revisiting a couple weeks ago (see GF Part 1 and Conversation updates in previous log). While doing so I just learned that Scaruffi too has just updated Coppola's page with ratings -- looks like from a day or two ago (ratings to all films not just his most famous). I think he now overrates Conversation slightly (though an 8 isnt hard to understand, I think its first half development may be a little too slow to accumulate into that high of a rating, but either way the difference between 7.5 and 8 isnt all that much and I can understand). And he possibly underrates GF # 1 slightly now (even though I downgraded it last viewing so again not hard to see where he is coming from. I considered maybe moving it to 7.8 or 7.7 then, but not down to 7.5 ... A little low for it imo).

Anyway, slightly awkward to be updating mine just before/same time/just after, but there you go... (Very rare that we happen to be working on the same artist at the same time).

Note: I have yet to revisit Apocalypse Now (recently) so it remains to be seen if my 8.1 still holds or not. Either way his 7.5 was expected. I will most likely be revisiting that and Dracula next, and that will probably be as far as Ill go with Coppola in this round.
