Also these dropped today, I haven't listened to all of them yet but surely will. What a day!

Underneath by Code Orange

We Are Sent Here By History by Shabaka ... Ancestors

Every Bad by Porridge Radio

And one I'll add as soon as I listen to it:
Letrux - Letrux Aos Prantos

Really liking this one. Gothic Rock has been addiction of mine lately and while this isn’t the fullblooded stuff, it’s still giving me that much needed fix.

Melee by Dogleg

I’d like to offer up this one for consideration too. Slightly unfortunate band name but it’s some interesting post-hardcore/emo and I’ve only heard great things.

Dropped today, it's an excellent album again. One of those guys that you know is gonna deliver.

This was pretty dope, I heard it this morning at the airport at like 4am and it was very soothing. I'll have to relisten a few more times but it was memorable, but it didn't absolutely blow me away or anything. At least a 7/10 or so record though

Jay Electronica I listened to afterwards and was very underwhelmed. Will hopefully get more from it from repeat listens.

Listening to this now and can confirm that it's really great. Some of the best post-hardcore I've heard in a while. Exquisite guitar tone.

Yeah I’m only just getting a chance to sit down with it after a day of work and Triple J Hottest 100 of The Decade parties and I wholeheartedly agree too. If groups like The Hotelier or Cloud Nothings are The Smiths, then they’re The Wedding Present. The songs are structured so finely in their assault and are instrumentally so full. Definitely among the best offerings of the year so far, that’s for sure.

Childish Gambino (under Donald Glover?) released an album very low-key early this morning

i've really been enjoying this gqom album "From Avoca Hills To The World" by Citizen Boy & Mafia Boyz this year (although technically the songs on it are all from earlier in the 2010s just collected here), recommended to anyone who likes crushingly dark music that you can totally dance to regardless, not really techno per se but has that nighttime mechanistic yet dancefloor ready feel of a lot of techno (particularly industrial techno)

good stuff

This just came out yesterday, and it's excellent. R.A.P. Ferreira is Milo's new alias, and the album has some production from Kenny Segal. Pretty laid back album but thoughtful and funny.

Purple Moonlight Pages by R.A.P. Ferreira
This one blew me away. Fun, enjoyable and sounds so good. The production is immense. It's number 1 on RYM too, if that means anything. Thanks for the rec!

I agree re: R.A.P Ferreira, aka milo's new album. Dude's been really prolific in recent years, with far more hits than misses.
