Mitski, Janelle Monae, Grimes, Courtney Barnett, St. Vincent were some big ones that were already mentioned. Here's a few big ones I haven't seen mentioned:

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves

LP1 by FKA Twigs

1000 Forms Of Fear by Sia

In 2018 alone, my EOY list was largely female artists (I've reevaluated since December 2018, but at that point my top 5 were all female)

Funny enough, I was just thinking about this this morning.

I think the 2010s is arguably the strongest decade for women (at least as far as dominating the decade with solid RELEASED music)... emphasizing released music because, well the reality is fantastic female artists were there in every decade before, but it feels like 2010s finally tipped the scales a bit more evenly.

I think that'd be a great tournament - greatest female artist releases of the 2010s.

EDIT:
Oh... it looks like this comment has already been made. Oh well. Embarassed

Not Emotion even Kiss is better than Emotion. I don't want to say much more as I do not like comparing female artists and how they stack up to men as it results in fetishization.
