Ehhh... donno if it's over-play or just general indifference to the sound but "Get Lucky" personally has no affect either way, I feel nothing while listening. The Tame Impala track is nice if nothing extroardinary, it still ended up moving the enjoyment needle in the slightest way and I guess in that regard it will get the vote here by default.
I like both of these, but I'm more likely to listen to Get Lucky outside of its album so I went with that. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.
Both songs are ok. On the Random Access Memories album I prefer nonetheless the song Contact and on the Lonerism album the song Keep on Lying, and between the two Contact would have won. But here I vote Tame Impala.
Easily 'Get Lucky', even if I refuse to willingly listen to it for at least another decade. That said, both have been wildly overplayed, but I'll take the sleek, giddy disco throwback of Daft Punk over the swampy bubblegum pseudo-psychedelia of Tame Impala. Both are maybe overly obvious choices, but I have enjoyed both at times - I just recall enjoying 'Get Lucky' more. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
Both are possibly the most overplayed songs from the bands. Well, maybe The Less I Know The Better in Tame Impala case. Anyways I wouldn't willingly listen to Get Lucky except in a party setting, and I wouldn't have a problem with playing Feels Like We Only Go Backwards anywhere and anytime, even if it's not nearly their best song. So I guess Tame Impala for me. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
