I love that Dean Blunt record, and this might be the standout song from it (though any of Side A's twisted takes on 1980s indie pop would've sufficed), but I can't vote against 'Numbers on the Board', which is just an absolute behemoth. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Yeah all of this. This and the Grimes vs Gil match are cruel, two underappreciated but great tracks going against two of the best of the decade.
Oh God. I'll vote Dean Blunt, whose touch of lo-fi couldn't-care-less rappy 80s Felt-ish indie pop I never could quite overcome. What a fantastic track. Numbers on the Board is honestly as good, and I'd hate to see any go.
