On the first page of recent posts here in the lounge, there are threads with most recent posts going back to 2019. That's... it's a forum, people. Do we need to put out a free shrimp table? _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802
My friends are into Katy Perry. That's really not enough for a man who's into black metal, power metal, hardcore punk, pop rock, experimental rock and art pop. They'd post here less than the current body. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802

The forums' activity's declined significantly since the beginning of 2019, like Skinny said. The most activity's been in the Games subforum, where there have been a lot of music tournaments recently, including one going on now. Many members who don't post regularly any more have been focusing on their Music Diaries, which I respect. Some older members like Tha1ChiefRocka have made a lot of effort to start new threads for a long time, but they can't be expected to constantly come up with fresh ideas after so many years. I try to reply to every post when I have something to say, more often in the Movies & TV subforum. There's a Best Films of the 2010s decade poll going on in the Movies subforum right now if you watch a fair number of movies.
We had a member, bobbyb5, who was good at coming up with thread ideas and was very prolific (some may have found him a little too prolific) -- my two favorites topics were: album covers that imitated other album covers, and rock urban myths. But he had trouble logging onto the site and dropped out at the end of 2018.
Wouldn't read too much into inactivity in the Lounge or Suggestions subforums, because they didn't have all that much activity even when the Music forum was lively.
