UK vs USA?

I say (ex)Yugoslavia

Idoli

Ekatarina Velika

Azra

Bijelo Dugme

Film

Električni Orgazam (meaning Electric Orgasm and isn't that just the best band name ever?)

Prljavo Kazalište

(isn't this just the most retarded album cover AND band photo ever?)

Dado Topić (frontman of the group "Time")

(oh well but this pic is even more ridiculous)

Don't mind me, it's just one of my desperate attempts to get people interested for this (ex-yugo) music

So far, no one's answered the actual question Laughing

My answer is actually the USA, which almost surprises me.

I think that the UK had an amazing group of bands (Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, David Bowie). But, to me, the USA has a LARGE group of 'good' bands, and some great ones also. And, I also don't think the 90's brit-stuff was very good Neutral Sorry.

Either way, both have their ups and downs.

And Canada still has Rush, Arcade Fire & Neil Young Wink

OK as for the thread itself - I have 38 british albums on my chart and 31 US albums. But I guess my favourite albums are all British (Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Radiohead). My favourite American album is apparently Is This It.

But really, the nationality of the artist is the last thing on my mind when I listen to music
